Legacy is a highly adaptable blueberry variety, with fruits used both for fresh consumption and processing. This variety tends to produce at a lower level in the early years, but once the plant has stabilized, productivity is very high. Legacy varieties are characterized by very good fruit quality, minor defects, and a distinctive aroma. Legacy retains its leaves throughout the winter, thus requiring a different approach to pruning, which is why their planting is also different, approx. at 80 cm and 3 m between rows.
