Blueberry pie

Ingredients:

For the filling: 6 cups of blueberries, 1 cup of sugar, 1/2 cup of brown sugar, 1 teaspoon of lemon juice, 1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon, 1/4 teaspoon of almond extract, 3 tablespoons of flour.

Preparation method

1. Mix the blueberries with the sugar, lemon juice, cinnamon, almond extract, and flour, and let them rest for 30 minutes.
2. Let the pie dough thaw, then spread it in a pie pan.
3. Add the blueberry mixture over the dough.
4. Cut the dough into strips and place them over the blueberries in two opposite directions to obtain diamonds. It is the best option because it allows the steam to escape.
5. Bake the pie in the oven at 200 degrees C for about 30 minutes, then reduce the heat. Cover the crust with aluminum foil and bake for another 30 minutes at 180 degrees C.
